CFL Christmas Gift Baskets

Each year, CFL members gather items to create
special Christmas Baskets and deliver to
the area cancer patients. Baskets are made
up of a variety of items, including: a Christmas
Ham and the fixings, Cocoa, Apple Cider,
Chicken Noodle Soup, Peppermints, Blankets,
Hand Lotion & Sanitizers, Notepads &
Pens, Toothbrush & Toothpaste, Inspirational
Books, Christmas Ornaments, etc., just to
name a few.
Each year, the CFL’s patient services committee
chooses 140 patients who we have helped in
the previous year. We ask businesses or organizations
to donate money or items to include in these
baskets. Our members gather together in December
to assemble the baskets. The baskets are
then distributed to the members, who deliver
them to the selected patients.
If you are a member of a Sunday School group,
Pokeno group, business organization, classroom,
social group or just an individual, we ask
that you donate. You can donate goods or
money.
If you are interested in helping with the
Christmas basket project, you may complete
the Christmas Basket Donation Form or contact our CFL office at 318-966-1953.
